Family Support Representative
Hannah is a member of Clarity's family support team with a main goal of helping families get through our financial aid application as smoothly as possible for a quick and seamless experience. Before joining Clarity, she worked within the customer service industry for the last 6 years mainly in auto insurance and debt consolidation industries. Hannah is an avid equestrian and has showed horses all across the East Coast.
Director of Education
A thought leader, Ron is Director of Education at Clarity and brings 19 years of experience, with 16.5 of those years as Director of Financial Aid at TADS. Ron is author of the financial aid “Impact Data Report” for schools and is dedicated to using data as a means of helping schools uncover their financial aid story. Ron is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and resides in Maple Grove, Minnesota with his wife Barb, and dog Kibby.
Sarah is an account executive but prefers the title Clarity Ambassador. She brings 9 years of admission solution experience to Clarity, most recently with PeerPal and Ravenna. She loves the collaborative spirit of schools and the Clarity team and the opportunity to partner with schools and share the Clarity story.
As a founding or early engineer, Zach has worked in sectors including low code automation, talent marketplaces, AI, healthtech, and education. His work has been published or featured in outlets like VICE Magazine, Virgin Entrepreneur, and a16z’s Future and his talks on programming psychology with Professor Barbara Oakley have been viewed by tens of thousands of software engineers
Jan is on her 3rd startup doing what she loves most - spreading the word about software she’s passionate about. Jan was the #2 employee at Ravenna Solutions, moved onto PeerPal and thrives being at Clarity with both co-founders from her previous jobs. When Jan isn’t cooking/eating out with family, you can find her in a rowing shell with her women’s rowing group, Martha’s Moms.
Director of Client Success
Drew is the Director of Client Success at Clarity, with a focus on ensuring that school users have the training, resources, and support they need to make the most of Clarity's Financial Aid software. Before joining Clarity, Drew spent the first 14 years of his career in independent schools as a teacher and enrollment professional. A spreadsheet nerd at heart, he regularly publishes and presents on how to use data to optimize enrollment and financial aid strategies. Based outside of Philadelphia with his wife and three children, he enjoys carpentry and playing music in his spare time.
James has spent the last decade working with enrollment management professionals enhancing their operations through intuitive and user friendly software through SchoolAdmin. He has passion for problem solving and loves engaging with schools to learn where he might best help. James, a Michigan native, resides in Texas and is a huge Detroit sports fan.
Chief Innovation Officer
Linda is the Chief Innovation Officer at Clarity. She was the CEO and co-founder of Ravenna Solutions, a technology company offering transformational admission software. Most recently Linda was a member of the Future of Independent Schools committee at the National Association of Independent Schools. Her mantra – “spreadsheets solve problems!”
As the Operations Manager for Clarity, Allie works with each team in the company to build communication and processes for both team members and the programs they use. Her passion for learning and structure have given her the ability to grow in every workplace, but Clarity has been a dream of opportunity and team knowledge. She has over a decade in store sales, team management, and operations, along with a background in fine art. Allie lives in Western Massachusetts with her partner, where she hikes, paints, and bakes in her free time. Her favorite contribution to the team has been in the form of the adopted mascot “Clarence”.
Director of Engineering
Jason is the Director of Engineering at Clarity. Over the past 15 years he has held a wide variety of engineering roles for both large and small companies, in both the enterprise and non-profit spaces. Most recently he was part of an acquired startup (acquired by OpenTable) and was instrumental in the successful integration of that product into the OpenTable ecosystem. He has played both the part of individual contributor and team lead, at times managing up to 12 engineers. Jason once worked as part of a team at the National Priorities Project nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Family Support Representative
Giovanni is a Family Support Representative at Clarity. He has more than 6 years working in customer support at other companies and he speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. He is also a chef but only cooks for his family and friends. He likes to exercise, watch movies, and learn about the universe.
Client Success Manager
Molly is a Client Success Manager at Clarity, working with schools to ensure that they have the training, resources, and support they need to make the most of Clarity's financial aid software. She began filling out financial aid forms for her own education in the early 1990s, when she was in middle school, so she is particularly thrilled to work for a company whose mission is to remove enrollment barriers and increase access to schools. Molly comes to Clarity after 16 years in both boarding and day schools working in admissions, development, and financial aid. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband, daughter, and dog Trevor, though they’re often found spending time in Massachusetts. She enjoys reading, biking, and traveling, and every spring looks forward to doing her family’s taxes.
Family Support Manager
Justin is the Family Support Manager at Clarity, and brings 10 years of support & services experience working in Higher Ed and K12 EdTech solutions. He is passionate about helping others succeed and is excited to help families as they navigate through the financial aid process. A transplant from Los Angeles, Justin currently resides in the Greater Seattle area.
Client Success Manager
Jennifer is a Client Success Manager at Clarity and loves working with schools to ensure that they have the training, resources and support to make the most of Clarity’s financial aid software. Before joining the Clarity team, Jennifer spent 25+ years as a career professional in independent school admission and financial aid spanning two coasts, six schools and student grade levels from infant through grade 12. Aside from running admission and financial aid programs at various schools, Jennifer has also served as a resident faculty member and student advisor. She believes deeply in the accessibility of independent schools to families of diverse backgrounds as well as the impact of such work on individual students. Her previous schools include: Stevenson School (CA), The Urban School of San Francisco (CA), The Pennington School (NJ), George School (PA), Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart (NJ), St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (MS). With both of their children away at school, Jennifer and her husband spend time at home with their two Siberian Forest cats and a very needy Shichon puppy named Jerry.
Co-Founder & CTO
Matt is the Chief Technology Officer at Clarity. He is a builder at heart and has dedicated his time to help startups grow, including working alongside Brennan in a prior independent school venture, PeerPal. Before his time in startups, he spent years developing financial systems for UBS. Matt used to be a firefighter.
Family Support Representative
After 20 years serving independent schools, primarily in admissions and financial aid, Alex discovered Clarity. After several thought provoking conversations with Brennan and others, he was convinced that he wanted to immerse himself into family support at Clarity. He works in education because he wants to change lives for the better. Every day, he works with an integrated group of capable people that are transforming the financial aid experience for families.
Co-Founder & CEO
Brennan is the founder and CEO of Clarity, where he is focused on helping schools remove barriers that prevent families from accessing their institutions, particularly in the financial aid process. Prior to Clarity, Brennan founded PeerPal, which was acquired by Graduway in July 2021. Brennan lives in the Seattle area with his partner, Sara, and two dogs.
